According to multiple sources, Denver Broncos safety Ryan Murphy was involved in a prostitution sting in San Jose.
Murphy was questioned and released by the San Jose police, but Murphy's brother and the suspected prostitute were cited

The Denver Broncos and Head Coach Gary Kubiak released a statement on the matter saying that despite Murphy not being cited with anything, they have decided to send him home.
"Although practice squad safety Ryan Murphy was not cited by the police, we decided it was best for the team if we continued our Super Bowl 50 preperations without him. Ryan is returning to Denver but his status as a practice squad player has not changed at this time".
Murphy was drafted in the seventh round of the 2015 NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahawks. They later decided to waive him and he eventually ended up on the Denver Broncos practice squad.
I believe Kubiak made the right decision here. Send him home as quickly as possible to avoid a distraction. It also sends a message to the rest of the team. If you screw up, you're going home.
Let's hope this is the only off the field issue the Broncos have to deal with during the build up to Super Bowl 50.
