Denver Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall met with the well-known foot and ankle special Robert Anderson on Friday had 1 1/2 of the 2 screws removed from his foot.

This was a planned surgery for Marshall and he is expected to be 100% in a month or so.
"They left in the half screw because if they take it out it will be more surgery and a bigger hole in the bone," Marshall said from Charlotte, N.C. "This way I will walk out when it's done, and I'll be full speed in a month."
He spent most of the past offseason rehabbing the surgery he had on his foot but returned for the start of Training Camp.
Marshall went on to play all 16 games for the Broncos and totaled 102 tackles, 1.5 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, and 1 interception for the Broncos this past season. He also started and played in the Broncos three postseason games, and totaled 14 tackles and 1 forced fumble in those three games.
He also called the defensive signals for the Broncos number one ranked defense this past season, and was a key piece to this historically good defensive unit.
Marshall will be a restricted free agent this offseason. Obviously the Broncos are not going to let him walk and will probably place a first-round tender on him.
