The Brock Osweiler free agent news and rumors are growing in velocity as the March 9th free agent date approaches. Today, Ian Rapoport suggested that the Denver Broncos will do everything they can to make sure Osweiler doesn't hit the open market.

What 'everything they can' means is anyone's guess. Surely that won't include anything close to a $20 million a year salary. If so, please do let the man walk.
Eric Goodman and Les Shapiro on The Afternoon Drive discussed what 'Plan B' might be for John Elway and the Broncos if they are forced to let Osweiler go in free agency.
They started with talking about the rumors suggesting the Broncos interested in Paxton Lynch, but Goodman noted that Elway scouts all of the quarterbacks regardless of the Broncos likelihood of drafting him. Whether the interest is real, that remains to be seen.
Naturally, one of the more popular options would be Robert Griffin III. That might be the best option available from this years' free agent quarterback list not named Brock Osweiler. Ryan Fitzpatrick isn't likely to be going anywhere, nor will Kirk Cousins, so if the Broncos do let Osweiler walk the pickings will be slim.
