Former Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow appeared on "The Ellen Show" this week and was asked which team he would be rooting for during Super Bowl Sunday.
Tebow now had to decide if he wanted to cheer for his former college teammate Cam Newton, or go with the organization that he played for. Ultimately, Tebow went with the good guys and said he will be rooting for the Broncos on Sunday.
"I used to play for the Broncos so I’m kind of partial rooting for them, but at the same time, I used to play with Cam Newton when I was at Florida, so I hope he has a great game," the former Broncos quarterback "But I’m probably pulling for the Broncos, I guess."
Tebow also weighed in on whether or not he thinks the quarterback who replaced him in Denver will retire or not.
He believes if the Denver Broncos win Super Bowl 50, that Peyton Manning will indeed retire. Go out on top just like now Broncos General Manager John Elway.
"Peyton, his career, to be able to see the sheriff finish it off the right way, it would be pretty fun," said Tebow.
It would be pretty fun!
Now that the Broncos have Tim Tebow on their side for Super Bowl 50, maybe they can get some of that "Tebow magic" That they received during his stint with the Broncos.
