Twice after Super Bowl 50 (oh by the way, Broncos Country, WE'RE SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS AAAAAAAHHHHHHH), Peyton Manning told his CBS interviewer that he was going to drink a lot of Budweiser.
Budweiser Peyton you cannot be serious!!! https://t.co/fQEGi22uay

You all probably thought the same thing I did: "How much did Budweiser pay Manning to say that, anyway?"
Turns out, on the record - nada.
Hi Internet. For the record, Budweiser did not pay Peyton Manning to mention Budweiser tonight. We were surprised and delighted that he did.

It's okay though. Manning made $2 million Sunday night just playing football. He'll be fine.
And I'm sure Budweiser will throw a few beers his way anyway.
Cheers, Broncos Country!
Update Feb 8th 9:02 a.m. MT
It has come to our attention that maybe Peyton likes Budweiser a bit because he owns a few Anheiser-Busch distributors (via Deadspin).
That's mildly annoying, but for Broncos fans, the sight of Manning clad in Super Bowl champions gear offsets any conscious realization that his post-game Super Bowl speech was a money-grab.
