With all of the news centering around the Denver Broncos making the trade with the San Francisco 49ers to land Colin Kaepernick, few were talking about the Cleveland Browns. Well now it looks like they might be the dark horse. According to Adam Schefter, Kaepernick wants to play there.
Here's a sentiment not many have shared recently: Colin Kaepernick wants to play in Cleveland. Respects Hue Jackson. Browns-Niners talking.

How much truth is here is unknown. Is this a leak from the Kaepernick or are the Browns trying to muddle the issue? If this trade falls through for the Broncos, they may already be looking at Ryan Fitzpatrick as their fallback option.
This doesn't necessarily mean Kaepernick wants to play for the Browns over the Broncos. It could just mean he doesn't care where he plays, so long as it's not in San Francisco.
It may be worth noting Schefter isn't saying Kap would prefer Browns over Broncos. May prefer CLE or DEN > SF. https://t.co/XxRESvjDLt

Mike Silver confirmed as much as well.
My understanding is the Kaepernick would happily play for Broncos or Browns https://t.co/Kz7dehq43k
