Eric Goodman and Les Shapiro on Friday's Afternoon Drive caught up with former Denver Broncos safety Nick Ferguson to talk about the quarterback situation in Denver. Eric asked who Ferguson would target between Colin Kaepernick, Ryan Fitzpatrick and now Josh McCown. The choice was clearly Kaepernick.
He felt both Fitzpatrick and McCown are much lower ceilings, with Fitzpatrick having a better shot at providing a good bridge at the position. There was no doubt to him that John Elway will end up drafting a quarterback in the 2016 NFL Draft.
I tend agree with all of Ferguson's points. It would be great to have Kaepernick competing for the starting job, with a rookie high round draft pick competing for the job as well.
What do you think, Broncos Country?

In case you didn't already know this, John Fox has been stockpiling former Broncos players. Eric and Les don't really think many of those former Broncos are very good. Danny Trevathan might be the exception.
