The Vernon Davis experience has come to end with the Denver Broncos as the much maligned tight end signs a 1-year deal with the Washington Redskins on Thursday.
Former Broncos' TE Vernon Davis has agreed to a 1-year deal with Washington Redskins, as @JasonLaCanfora reported.

His trepidation to go for the football in the middle of the field really cost the Broncos some much needed offensive plays during the regular season. However, his superior blocking skills did help the team during their Super Bowl run.
That won't keep Broncos fans from cracking some jokes, though.
Hopefully he doesn't drop the pen when they pass it to him. https://t.co/DmrkDYWxfv

This deal will offer Davis one more shot at resurrecting his once brilliant career. With Kirk Cousins at quarterback, he will at least have a good opportunity to do just that.
