Brock Osweiler arrived at a Houston-area airport tonight and spoke the media for the first time since leaving the Denver Broncos to sign with the Houston Texans.

Brock talked about how he enjoyed his four seasons in Denver but coming to Houston was an opportunity he(Osweiler) could not pass up.

Here is what Osweiler had to say to the Houston Chronicle's John McClain.

"I want to contribute to this team in a positive manner. I couldn't be more excited. This is a great organization I want to be part of. I'm excited to meet the coaches and ownership and get to work in the spring. My biggest deal is I want to do my job."

Osweiler continues by talking about how it was difficult to leave Denver, but joining Houston was an opportunity he could not pass up.

"It was very difficult to leave Denver. I would be lying if I said anything else. I had a tremendous four seasons in Denver. Those are four years I will always hold close to my heart. Coming to Houston was an opportunity I couldn't pass up. This organization is on the cusp of doing something great and I want to be part of it."

I guess signing with the team that just won the Super Bowl and still has a lot of key pieces remaining from that team is not an opportunity Osweiler really wants.

While the Texans might be on the cusp of "doing something great", the Broncos have and will continue to do great things.

Seems like the Denver Broncos are the place you want to be if you want achieve greatness.
