According to Charlie Campbell of WalterFootball.com, the Denver Broncos are actively talking to teams about trading up in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft.
#Broncos and #Browns are looking to trade up from 31, 32, @DraftCampbell reports - https://t.co/U3dxjVSQ0f

If a team is looking to trade up, they are targeting a certain player or two, so who may that player be? According to Campbell, the Denver Broncos are in the quarterback market and are targeting quarterback prospect Paxton Lynch.
Denver also is in the quarterback market. In speaking to league contacts, they believe the Broncos would draft Memphis quarterback Paxton Lynch if he got to them, but many around the league don't think that Lynch will reach the Broncos. Trading up with Green Bay would allow Denver to leap division rival Kansas City (28th pick), who also could consider Lynch.
One of the teams that the Broncos have discussed a trade with is the Green Bay Packers. They own the 27th pick and would allow the Broncos to jump the Kansas City Chiefs and the Arizona Cardinals. Both of those teams could use a young quarterback to develop and have been showing interest in the quarterback class this year.
Campbell doesn't mention any other teams the Broncos have discussed a potential trade with, but one has to assume they are talking to a bunch of teams. A few teams that could be potential trade partners are the Indianapolis Colts at 18, the Buffalo Bills at 19, and if the Jets pass on the Lynch the Washington Redskins at 21.
There expects to be a lot of movement and talks in the late first round. Teams like the Cleveland Browns, the Dallas Cowboys, the Arizona Cardinals, New York Jets, Buffalo Bills, and 49ers could all be looking to move or down for a quarterback prospect.
One thing that favors the Broncos here is their amount of draft picks. They currently have 10 draft picks(10 draft picks were never making this team) and plenty of 2017 draft picks they could deal as well. So if the Broncos view Paxton Lynch as their quarterback of the future, they have the ammo to get it done.
We are five days away from the first round of the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft kicking off so there expects to be plenty of rumors and reports swirling. For now, all we can do is speculate on who the Broncos are targeting and if they can or should trade up for quarterback Paxton Lynch.
