Denver Broncos suffer huge setback in power rankings from ESPN

The Denver Broncos were faded all along the way to their Super Bowl championship and already they are being faded at every corner for the 2016 season.

Tom Brady suspended for four games? No problem, the New England Patriots are still the team to beat according to ESPN.

Meanwhile, the Denver Broncos will never figure out how to win games without Brock Osweiler. Who knew ESPN held him in such high regard.

With the Patriots first, the Broncos were dropped all the way to eighth.

8. Denver Broncos

Brock Osweiler and Peyton Manning finished 24th and 28th in Total QBR in 2015, and their team won the Super Bowl anyway. So you can kind of see John Elway's point if he thinks Mark Sanchez and Paxton Lynch can be good enough. But only kind of.

"But only kind of."

People around the league are tired of hearing about the Broncos getting disrespect, but hey, if the shoe fits.

T.J. Ward is spot on with his assessment of how the media is treating the Broncos right now. It's all about Brock Osweiler, while they ignore the fact that of the 12 players who played a majority of the snaps on defense last season, 10 are returning.

How is that for a rational thought?

Truth be told, I love that the respect is wholly lacking. This defense fed off that all the way to a Lombardi Trophy and I would bet its more annoying now than it ever was given the Broncos haven't played a single game since that ass whooping they put on those #2 ranked Carolina Panthers.

September cannot get here fast enough.
