Good Morning, Broncos Country!
A little over 10 days.
That's when the madness with Von Miller ends. Finally. And it can't come quick enough, either.
No more click-bait rumors or reactionary journalism from local and national media on what could happen. From John Elway is jealous of Miller to the star linebacker has been made out as the villain in contract talks with the Denver Broncos.
The best one so far is that Miller has seen the money the NBA has thrown around to players like Timofey Mozgov, which is just another reason Miller could sit out the 2016 season.
If you're going throw mud against the wall to see if it sticks, go all out. To wit: Miller has decided to quit the NFL all together and make a go at the NBA.
As I've said on social media the last few weeks when these "stories" surface, I hate this time of year.

Say it with me, Broncos Country: A little over 10 days and this nonsense will cease.
In a great way, of course, when Miller signs a long-term deal with the Broncos and he's the highest paid non-quarterback in NFL history. As was the case with Matt Prater, Ryan Clady and Demaryius Thomas, Elway gets his guy and all is great with the world again.
What will make this next 10 days even better, or at least until the start of training camp on July 28, is to get Emmanuel Sanders extended as well. According to The Denver Post's Troy Renck, talks between Sanders and the Broncos have been good but recent receiver contracts have changed the landscape a bit.
As I have said since March, I think Miller and Sanders both get extended. As is the case with Brandon Marshall, both are too valuable to the Broncos. What they all bring on the field is priceless, and so too is what they mean to the locker room.
At least for now, I'm like "South Park's" Eric Cartman when he counts down the days until he goes to Casa Bonita. Only for me, it's for the Miller madness to finally come to an end.
