Day 17 was a rough one for the Broncos offense. All three quarterbacks struggled, another Mark Sanchez pick 6, Paxton Lynch taking 1st team reps(a sign of things to come?), Lorenzo Doss continues to intercept everything, Aqib Talib looking good, Kubiak pissed at the offense, Bennie with a fractured elbow, more injury updates and more
Paxton Lynch gets some 1st team reps
Rookie quarterback Paxton Lynch received some 1st team reps during the 7-on-7 drills today, but it didn't go all that great for him
Paxton getting "coached up" by Kubiak. Rookie has had a few 1st team reps today. #4Broncos

Lynch hasn't had much experience with starting center Matt Paradis and it showed when he fumbled his first snap. He then handed off to Devontae Booker and had a pass batted down at the line by Jared Crick.
This led to Kubiak to give his rookie some tough love when he gave him an earful for his performance, but he wasn't the only quarterback to get a chewing out from Kubiak.
He did rebound later in practice with a nice touchdown pass to Ronnie Hillman.
Quarterbacks struggle
Mark Sanchez received the first reps with the first team followed by Siemian and Lynch. All 3 struggled today and nothing really changed once again. All three really struggled and Kubiak was visibly pissed off after practice and was snapping at reporters.
Kubiak understandably pissed after the performance of the offense & QBs at #BroncosCamp today. Could see it on his face.

Mark Sanchez had his fourth pick 6 of Training Camp when backup cornerback Lorenzo Doss jumped infront of Emmanuel Sanders and took it to the house. Also, Sanchez nearly had one earlier in camp when Aqib Talib broke up a pass. Sanchez also went 0-6 in a red zone drill.
Siemian had a rough day as well.
Siemian does nothing in his attempt with the ones.

Who tucks the ball and runs in a 7 on 7 drill? Trevor Siemian #BroncosCamp
— Kirk Davis (@MHR_KaptainKirk) August 13, 2016
Siemian's lone highlight came in 7-on7's when he hit DeVier Posey on a deep pass. Posey beat Kayvon Webster but the pass was a bit underthrown and Posey went up and got the ball over Webster.
So we really didn't learn squat about the quarterbacks today. How they bounce back Monday will be huge. Also, the scrimmage with the 49ers on Wednesday will also be huge.
Kubiak was asked about splitting reps between the three quarterbacks and just didn't seem pleased with all three.
"I don’t know. I’m not real happy with practice today, so I’ll go look at today. We’ll wake up on Monday—tomorrow is an off day—and Monday we’ll go back to work. We’ll keep plugging. We are going to find the right one."
Who the "right one" is remains the biggest question for the Broncos. I think the coaches would have liked one of Sanchez and Siemian to step up and neither has yet.
Offense stayed on the field after practice
Kubiak was so pissed with the offense he let the defense go in the locker room when practice ended but kept the offense out there to go through additional walkthroughs.
Kubiak clearly displeased with the offensive performance today. Offense remained on the field to get extra walk-through reps after practice
— Andrew Mason (@MaseDenver) August 13, 2016
Kubiak ripped the offensive effort after today's practice and called it disappointing.
"We didn’t practice very well offensively. We’re less than 48 hours out of a game and to come back and practice is tough. We handled it defensively, but we didn’t handle it offensively. It’s disappointing for me."
The Broncos do have an off day tomorrow, but on Monday they go back it. The offense will need to step up
Aqib Talib participating in team drills
Broncos All-Pro cornerback Aqib Talib continued his return to the field today by participating in 7-on-7 drills and nearly intercepted Mark Sanchez
Talib participating in 7-on-7s. Nearly picked off Sanchez.

Talib played in team drills and broke up multiple passes today and looked really good. So any questions about his health have been answered at this point.
Kubiak said Talib is making "a lot of progress"
"He’s doing great. You all saw him today making a lot of plays. He practiced for about an hour and a half. We’re trying to keep him out of contact situation, but he sure looks really good to me. I think we are making up a lot of ground."
He still will be brought along slowly and will probably sit out the Broncos second preseason game, but it looks like he might be full go by the Broncos important third preseason game.
Outside of a suspension coming down from the NFL
Lorenzo Doss continues to make plays
The Broncos second-year corner continues to make plays. He now has two interceptions for touchdowns off Mark Sanchez and also had an interception during the Broncos first preseason game against the Bears.
He figures to be the Broncos fifth cornerback this year(insane depth) but could push Kayvon Webster for the fourth cornerback job if he continues this excellent play.
Doss has a future in the Broncos secondary, and I could see him play some significant snaps this season with Aqib Taib likely getting some sort of suspension at some point this season.

Notable quotes
Kubiak on going with Mark Sanchez as his starter against the Bears
"I just thought that was the best way to go."
Kubiak on Bennie Fowler's injury
"He made it through the game. He has some type of a small fracture in his elbow. He’s going to be a few weeks. The plan is kind of like with Ty Sambrailo from a standpoint of we have to stabilize it here for a few days. He should be able to do all the running and conditioning, but Bennie is going to miss a little bit of time. It’s disappointing. He’s really playing well, but we’re going to get him back. It’s just going to take a little time."
Cody Latimer on his improvement so far this summer
"It’s because I’m confident. I don’t have to do a lot of thinking. I know the offense, so I can just go out there and just run. I don’t have to think so much and worry about things. I just go out there with confidence and make plays."
