Horse Tracks: No clubbing says the sherriff

New, comments

Peyton Manning suggesting Von Miller be sent home on a flight after a night of clubbing is our lead off article in HT today and struck me as pretty darn interesting.

Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

So after a night of clubbing that caused Miller and some of his closest buds on the team to miss curfew, the story says Fox chewed them out in front of the whole team (good on ya, Fox!), then Manning suggested they be sent home on the next available flight, but Fox ultimately let them all play.

Yeah...like Fox was going to send home one of the NFL's most impactful pass rushers of the modern era to make a point. I hope you guys got as good of a chuckle as I did in reading it.

Basically it boils down to this: if you miss curfew, you are going to be dragging limp through the day on gameday and everyone knows you just can't flop it out there and expect it to perform like that.
