According to bookmaker.eu, the Denver Broncos quarterback battle is becoming a bit clearer after the first week of training camp. Though Paxton Lynch is still mostly playing against the third team defense, oddsmakers are pegging him as the likely starter come Week 1 of the 2016 regular season.

There were several quarterback battles around the league that the lines opened on and though the Broncos battle is the closest, it was Lynch who beat out first Mark Sanchez and then Trevor Siemian as the favorite to ultimately win the job by Week 1.

Gary Kubiak hasn’t made a final decision yet, so this line could change in pending the outcome of the first few preseason games. As the Broncos head coach noted on Thursday, he will give each quarterback a specific set of plays to grade out for the eventual starting job.

All these odds mean is that Vegas is betting that Lynch will be the guy that eventually beats out both Sanchez and Siemian once the regular season begins.
