Denver Broncos star wide receiver, Demaryius Thomas, suffered a hip injury during the win against the Carolina Panthers on Thursday. After undergoing an MRI on Friday, he is now seeking a second opinion per Adam Schefter.

This could be bad news. Thomas did play through the injury, but you never know with injuries to joint areas. Getting a second opinion isn’t strange for these types of injuries as noted by Dr. Chao.
Not necessarily a surprise. Many more MRIs done & sent for 2nd opinion as a routine than ever reported in media. https://t.co/oP3KNscp8W— David J. Chao, MD (@ProFootballDoc) September 11, 2016
Thomas came up hurt after this pass, which he climbed the latter to receive and was hit hard in the hip area. The positive thing here is that Thomas did play the rest of the game and made some big time catches, so hopefully this is more precautionary than anything.
