The big news from Wednesday's Broncos practice session was defensive end Derek Wolfe being limited with a sore neck. As we know, Wolfe suffered the injury during last week's game against the Panthers when guard Trai Turner reportedly grabbed Wolfe's facemask and threw him to the ground.
Kubiak said Derek Wolfe's neck is sore. Participated in parts of practice today. Not all.

Wolfe participated in some activities today but sat out some portions as well. It doesn't appear that Wolfe will sit out Sunday's game, but the injury is worth monitoring.
Wide receiver Demaryius Thomas continued to work through a hip injury today and told reporters after practice he felt better today. He also said this injury is similar to the one he suffered in 2012. A season in which he played all 16 games that year.

All signs point to DT being out there on Sunday against the banged-up Colts secondary
The other big news was second-year tight end Jeff Heuerman putting in his first full practice during a regular season preparation week. The Broncos 2015 second round pick has yet to play in a regular season game but figures to change that this weekend.
Having Heuerman and Green on the field at the same time will add an extra element to the Broncos offense.
In less optimistic news, wide receiver Bennie Fowler didn't participate in practice for the second straight day and seems likely to miss his second straight game due to that elbow injury. With DT banged up and Fowler likely inactive, we could see some more Jordan Taylor and Cody Latimer on Sunday.
As for the Colts, well they're pretty banged up.
Veteran linebacker Trent Cole and veteran corner Vontae Davis continued to sit out practice. It's expected that Davis will miss this weekend's matchup.
The big news from the Colts was adding quarterback Andrew Luck and wide receiver T.Y. Hilton to their injury report today. Luck has a shoulder injury but he will be out there this Sunday. Remember he played through a lacerated kidney or something awful last year and beat the Broncos defense.
Wide receiver T.Y. Hilton seems to be the more concerning injury for the Colts. He was listed to have an injured knee and did not participate in today's practice despite not even being listed on the injury report yesterday. Usually veterans who receive a day off during practice week are listed as "limited" so this could be a developing story for the Colts.
