Once again, the oddsmakers are not all that impressed with the Denver Broncos. Sure they are on the road, but the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been atrocious to start the 2016 regular season. Meanwhile, the Broncos are beating playoff teams - by double digits.
The Buccaneers have the second worst net points in the NFL at -31. Only the Chicago Bears are worse off through three weeks. Meanwhile, the Broncos are a healthy +27 through three games against quality playoff-caliber teams.
The craziest part is that the line opened at -3.5 for the Broncos and has since moved away from the Broncos to -3 and, in some places, -2.5.
What does Vegas know that we don’t and why would they be begging the public to pound the Broncos? It’s a question I hate asking, but with 90% of the action on the Broncos it must be asked.
Frankly, I don’t like this at all.
