Broncos vs Bengals: Snap Count Analysis

Who got more playing time? Who got less?

David Kohl-USA TODAY Sports

The Denver Broncos in their third game saw a bunch of big swings in snap counts mainly due to injury. They still defeated the Cincinnati Bengals, so the depth really came through for them.

Three guys were activated for this game who had been inactive in the first two: Ty Sambrailo, Benny Fowler and Jeff Heuerman. Ty played 100% of the offensive snaps - all 67 of them. He didn't play well, but he did play every offensive snap. John Phillips and Devontae Booker both saw their snap% increase for the second straight game with Virgil Green being out and Kapri Bibbs not getting into any offensive play. CJ Anderson had another heavy workload like in game 1. Darrion Weems played very few snaps after taking a lot in game two.

Darian Stewart was an ironman again playing every defensive snap - all 67, but our entire defensive backfield played 91% or more snaps against the Bengals. Will Parks got the majority of the extra safety snaps this game seeing a huge increase with Justin Simmons sidelined. The only real surprise on the defensive side of the ball was Kayvon Webster getting exactly one defensive snap in Cincy after getting significantly more than that during the first two games.
