Horse Tracks: Apparently, Denver is missing the playoffs in 2016

Yes, Broncos Country, your team can win the Super Bowl and still everyone around the MSM will still expect mediocrity at best from them regardless of talent, coaching, or front office success.

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

In the loser section of news today we lead off with a fun start-of-the-season kind of article from Sports Illustrated. They have neat graphics showing all of their analyst's predictions on who's going to the playoffs, winning the Super Bowl, etc. 12 fantastic analysts from SI weighed in on who's the real deal in the dance for 2016.

Shout out to Christ Burke who actually thinks Denver is going to likely win the AFC West.

4 other analysts picked us to get the 6th seed and lose in the wild card round to the likes of KC, Indy, NE, and Houston (HOUSTON!?)

The other 7 analysts don't see this team making the playoffs.

I honestly hope this shade never stops (and likely this will be the one prayer granted to me in this life) because I KNOW this team is hearing the doubt. And I also know the defense feeds off of it. Keep up with the disrespect people. Players like Chris Harris, Jr., T.J. Ward, Aqib Talib, Derek Wolfe, and Brandon Marshall seem to be year in and year out absolutely fueled by this kind of talk.

You can see it in their eyes when the media questions get asked to them...there's a slight twinkle in their eyes that seems to say, "When the hell are you people going to figure it out?"

Tonight we get to see our first glimpse of if this 2016 Denver Bronco team is for real. Will they make people stand up and take notice? Or are they a team on the rebuild after a post-Super Bowl regression?
