The conflict between the Chargers and the city of San Diego has come to an end. Dean Spanos is picking up stakes and moving to Los Angeles, according to a report from Adam Schefter on Wednesday.

Despite attempts from the NFL to keep the Chargers in San Diego, these hopes appear to have been fruitless.
The move will mark an end of a 55-year run in San Diego and send ripples through the AFC West. This comes on the heels of another report from the Raiders stating that a deal with Oakland was “not salvageable”. They too plan to move, but to Las Vegas.
Get used to these two team names, Broncos Country, because there look to be coming soon to an AFC West matchup near you.
Los Angeles Chargers
Las Vegas Raiders
That just doesn’t seem right to me.
Update: The Chargers may do a complete rebranding to drum up a new fanbase. According to a few reports from December, that could very well be the plan. The idea would be to come to Los Angeles with a clean slate, asking fans to help them pick a name, logo and colors.
