The Seattle Seahawks defense might be one of the few teams that matches up well with the Atlanta Falcons high-octane offense. They defeated the Falcons 26-24 earlier in the season where Matt Ryan was hit and hurried to the tune of four sacks.
Ryan exploded in the third quarter of that game, with three touchdown passes, but was shut down in both the first half and the fourth quarter. It will be interesting to see how both teams adjust from what they learned about each other in their first matchup.
The Seahawks are a veteran playoff team that knows the stakes of January football and I think they come out on top over the Falcons in this one, despite being road underdogs.
