The Denver Broncos have assembled the A-Team

Nick Ferguson joined the Afternoon Drive to discuss the Denver Broncos new coaching staff.

Eric Goodman and Les Shapiro of the Afternoon Drive had an interesting comparison to make for the Broncos new coaching staff. They took it back to the 80s, and started assembling the “A-Team.” Apparently, John Elway is Hannibal, and his plan is coming together.

If you didn’t see Elway light up a cigar and utter those famous words, you are probably too young for the reference. However, it is easy to see that Elway went into the search for a new coaching staff with a clear objective. Vance Joseph was always his number one choice. Elway is playing chess while everyone else is playing checkers.

There is continuity in the choices the Broncos have made, and the excitement has swept through Broncos Country. 2016 may have ended on a down note, but 2017 is shaping up to be successful. The coaching staff is an A-Team on paper, but now they will have to prove it on the field.
