Justin Simmons says Broncos need to learn from mistakes and focus on beating Chargers

Justin Simmons and the Denver Broncos can only watch tape and try to correct their mistakes. The focus now is 100% on beating the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Denver Broncos lost in the ugliest way to the New York Giants, but Justin Simmons told Eric Goodman and Les Shapiro from The Afternoon Drive that all they can do is watch the tape and try to learn from it and focus on going 3-0 in the division with a win over the Los Angeles Chargers next week.

That’s the right mindset to have, because dwelling on the ugliness of the loss is what us fans do. The players need to analyze and adjust to correct mistakes and move quickly on to the next opponent, which is exactly what Simmons is doing.

For the defense, they will need to keep the score low until the offense can work its way out of its current scoring slump. Will that happen this week? Who knows...

The full interview can be found here, along with a lot of discussions around Trevor Siemian and the quarterback future for the Broncos.
