The Denver Broncos quarterback situation has gotten a lot murkier with each passing week that Trevor Siemian struggles to produce points for the offense, which has caused a lot of debate and disagreement with fans on what Vance Joseph should do with the position.

Fans mostly wanted Siemian benched this week, but how much of that was an emotional reaction to a nothingburger the offense put up?

Would they have voted “yes” had the known Brock Osweiler would be the only option heading into this game?

On Saturday, Joseph put to rest any idea that Paxton Lynch would be available noting that the second-year quarterback isn’t back to full strength just yet.

“It’s going to be Trevor and Brock”, Joseph said of which quarterbacks would be active against the Chiefs.

When asked about Lynch, Joseph explained that its simple too early for him to have an active roster spot.

“No we didn’t [rule him out], but he practiced for the first time Wednesday,” Joseph said. That’s not fair to the guy.”

It would make sense that Lynch would be eased back into the active roster. He may be another 1-2 weeks away from that, but once he returns Siemian had better find his groove again. Why? Because the fanbase is getting antsy.
