Denver Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs inactives: Sanders, Davis, and Lynch are inactive

NFL: Denver Broncos at Los Angeles Chargers Jake Roth-USA TODAY Sports

Here are the inactives for tonight’s Monday night divisional matchup between the Denver Broncos and the Kansas City Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium.

The Broncos will be without starters Emmanuel Sanders and Todd Davis for tonight’s game. Bennie Fowler will get the start at receiver for the Broncos and look for Cody Latimer and Jordan Taylor to get significant snaps as well.

As for Davis, it is unclear who will replace him in the lineup. My best guess is that Zaire Anderson will get the start in place of him. It’s a big loss for the Broncos run defense as they prepare to take on the potent Chiefs rushing attack.

Also inactive is quarterback Paxton Lynch. After Trevor Siemian’s struggles, some anticipated Lynch potentially replacing him under center, but that will not happen tonight. Head Coach Vance Joseph does not want to rush Lynch on to the field too quickly as he just returned from a shoulder injury. If anyone replaces Siemian it will be veteran Brock Osweiler.

As for the Chiefs, edge rusher Justin Houston is active and will likely start tonight for the Chiefs defense.
