McKenzie, though, says he’s just getting started, and that he would give himself a ‘C’ grade so far this season.
The guys from the Afternoon Drive caught up with the rookie wide receiver and punt returner today and talked about what he wants to improve on to give himself an ‘A’ or a ‘B’. His answer: a touchdown, and more return yards.
For a guy who is statistically one of the best punt returners in the NFL right now, it’s great to see McKenzie isn’t satisfied and wants to keep pushing for more.
Isaiah McKenzie is 3rd in NFL with an 11.1-yard punt-return average (among players with at least 5 punt returns). Leads NFL w/ 3 20+ PRs.

Special Teams Coordinator, Brock Olivo thinks it’s only a matter of time before McKenzie breaks one for a touchdown.
“He’s always a shoe string tackle away or one block away. He’s exciting and the guys know that. We just look forward to everyone and getting him the opportunity to get the ball in his hands.”
