The Denver Broncos and Cincinnati Bengals released their first injury report of the week ahead of their Sunday afternoon matchup. One certain tall Broncos quarterback made a surprise appearance on their injury report today.

Current starting quarterback Brock Osweiler made the Broncos injury report today with a chest and/or shoulder injury(right). The confusion comes from the Broncos media who said he had both at times today. In the end, the Broncos listed Osweiler with a shoulder injury and he was limited in practice today. It still appears that he’ll get the start against the Bengals on Sunday.
This means that Paxton Lynch got the first-team reps today while Osweiler took his old injury. It’s quite the leap for a quarterback who didn’t have a timetable to return and hasn’t thrown a deep ball just a few days ago. A great and convenient injury recovery for the former first-round pick.
In other news, Paxton Lynch is now the Broncos number two quarterback while Trevor Siemian and his arm gifted from the gods themselves has been demoted once again to third-string quarterback.

As for the rest of the Broncos injury report, the only two players to sit out practice because of an injury were tight end’s Jeff Heuerman(Knee) and A.J. Derby(Shoulder). Their status will be something to watch throughout the week.
As for the Bengals, cornerback’s William Jackson and Adam “Pac Man” Jones sat out today’s practice for them. Their status will also be something to watch in the coming days. If one or both sits sut Sunday’s gam or are limited, it could greatly benefit the Broncos pass offense.
Here is the rest of your Wednesday injury report for the Denver Broncos and the Cincinnati Bengals.
