The Denver Broncos seem to have things go wrong in very different ways during their six-game losing streak, but this fumble by C.J. Anderson against the Cincinnati Bengals was the death blow for them in their latest loss.
Anderson was shaken to the bone by this one. Vontaze Burfict put his helmet in the perfect spot and there was little Anderson could have done differently to change the outcome of this play, but that didn’t matter.

That’s the kind of heart all fans hope to see from the players playing for their team. Anderson is all heart. Given his effort and play in big games over the years, he deserves a pass for this one. His play isn’t the reason the Broncos are sitting at 3-7 and completely out of playoff contention with six games to play.
It’s been that kind of year all around.
