The Denver Broncos (3-7) have opened 5.5-point underdogs on the road against the Oakland Raiders (4-6) in Week 12. The line has since moved down a half point, but the Raiders are still heavily favored to win this week.
The rivalry between these two teams has been tight since 2015, with teams splitting their season series in each of the last two seasons. The Broncos took the first game back in Week 4, which was also the last time they won a game.
With Denver taking a six-game losing streak into Oakland, they are about as desperate as a team can get for a win. Meanwhile, the Raiders have been a bit on again, off again in their play. When Derek Carr is on, the Raiders tend to win games. When he is off, they tend to lose.
I kind of like the Broncos in this spot, but only to cover. That is only if Brock Osweiler continues to start for them. If they throw in Paxton Lynch, then you should stay away from betting on this game.
