The Denver Broncos not only lost to the Oakland Raiders, the lost Paxton Lynch for 3-4 weeks with a high ankle sprain and Domata Peko for another two weeks with a knee sprain. That means Trevor Siemian will once again be starting for the Broncos when they take on the Miami Dolphins next week.
Vance Joseph on Trevor Siemian: “He’s going to be our quarterback Sunday"
— Zac Stevens (@ZacStevensBSN) November 27, 2017
Siemian said after the game on Sunday that he wanted to play and now he gets to play.
In just over one quarter of play, Siemian lit up the beleaguered Raiders secondary going 11/21 for 149 yards and two touchdown passes. Lynch finished three and a half quarters going just 9/14 for 41 yards and an interception.
The only quarterback to win games for the Broncos this year has been Siemian, so this move could actually put Denver’s high draft pick in jeopardy as they play some bad football teams down the stretch.
