According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Philadelphia Eagles tight end Zach Ertz will not play against the Denver Broncos on Sunday.
#Eagles TE Zach Ertz planned to go, but pulled up in warmups. He couldn’t get loose and is out today.

This is huge news for the Broncos as the one major area of weakness on their defense is covering pass catching tight ends as was evident last week when Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs shredded them for 7 catches an 133 yards with a touchdown.
Without Ertz, the Eagles will have to rely more on the running game and wide receivers. Both of which play right into the strengths of the Broncos defense.
