The Denver Broncos and the New England Patriots have released their first injury report of the week ahead of their Sunday Night matchup. The Broncos enter the game a bit banged up with 14 players listed on their initial injury report.

The big names that sat out today’s practice with injuries were center Matt Paradis, guard Ron Leary, and wide receiver Demaryius Thomas.

Paradis is dealing with a back injury but it sounds like he’ll be good to go Sunday Night. Leary is dealing with the same elbow injury he had last week and played through so he should be good to go as well. The big concern here is with wide receiver Demaryius Thomas. He sat out practice with a hamstring injury. Those injuries are rather tricky and can be aggravated pretty easily so his status will be something to watch all week.

Running back C.J. Anderson and Emmanuel Sanders were limited in today’s practice with ankle injuries. Both played through injuries last Sunday so they should be good to go again this weekend.

As NFL network’s James Palmer stated above, the Broncos only did a walk-through today because of injuries at the wide receiver and offensive tackle positions. The Broncos have four receivers listed on their injury report and are down two offensive tackles with Stephenson limited and Menelik Watson placed on the season-ending IR list. So hopefully the Broncos will be healthy enough tomorrow to put in a proper practice before their Sunday night matchup against the Patriots.

As for the Patriots, defensive tackle Malcolm Brown, right tackle Marcus Cannon, and wide receiver Chris Hogan sat out practice today.
