The Broncos draft order is now set.

With the Broncos season coming to an end with a 27-24 defeat to their division rival Kansas City Chiefs, their draft positioning in the first-round is now set. They will have the 5th overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft.

The Cleveland Browns, New York Giants, Indianapolis Colt, and the Cleveland Browns once again are the three teams picking ahead of the Broncos.

Now which direction the Broncos go in the draft will be decided by what they do at the quarterback position during free agency. Will they pony up the money and sign a veteran like Kirk Cousins, work a trade for say an Andrew Luck or Alex Smith, or will they use this 5th overall pick on a quarterback?

Names like Josh Rosen, Sam Darnold(if he declares), Baker Mayfield, and Josh Allen will be considered by the Broncos in the draft if they decide to go that route. If they get a quarterback via free agency or trade, they will be in range to take one of the top non-quarterback prospects in the draft.

Either way, it’s going to be a very interesting offseason for the Broncos.

Also, thank you Jameis Winston and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for the top five pick.
