Report: Trevor Siemian will start at quarterback vs. the Jets

Vance Joseph once again picked Siemian’s name out of his who will start at quarterback hat.

NFL: Denver Broncos at Miami Dolphins Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports

The New York Jets defense received some good news this Monday afternoon. 9NEWS’s Mike Klis tweeted out that the Denver Broncos will start quarterback Trevor Siemian at quarterback this Sunday against the Jets.

It appears the Broncos are indeed embracing the tank.

Siemian was just downright dreadful Sunday against a not so good Miami Dolphins team. He threw 3 terrible interceptions, 0 touchdowns, and had a quarterback rating of 30.5. That’s not good. It smashed whatever positive hype he had going after leading two touchdown drives against the Oakland Raiders dreadful pass defense in garbage time the week prior.

Siemian’s last four starts for the Broncos have all been losses and he has played terribly(or as expected to some) in all four. In those four games, he has thrown only 2 touchdowns while throwing 9 interceptions in that span. Add in 3 fumbles(1 lost fumble) and you have a steaming pile of sh*t for a quarterback.

Yet the Broncos continue to name him the starter or pick his name out of the hat or whatever process they go through when naming a starter.

Odds are we’ll see another terrible performance against a decent New York Jets team. Embrace the tank Broncos Country because it’s not getting any better this season.
