The Broncos big need is no secret

The Afternoon Drive have a lot of questions about what is going to happen in Denver on the offensive line.

Eric Goodman was joined by Sean Walsh, and there were a lot of concerns with the Broncos offensive line. Walsh sees it as a situation that simply needs to be blown up. The problem arises when assessing the free agency options that will be hitting the market.

Every time a rumor is thrown out there, Broncos Country goes tweet crazy. Ryan Clady hit the market, and Bronco fans started tweeting about whether or not he was a viable option. He isn’t, but that is an indication of just how horrid the situation is on the line.

Aside from the quarterback situation, the offensive line is the biggest debate in Denver. Russell Okung is over priced. Clady is a non-starter. Dolphins LT Brandon Albert might be available, but there is a reason.

Trading for Joe Thomas has been looked at like crazy. Kevin Zeitler could be an option. The list will only continue to grow.

The only obvious point to make is that the Broncos need to fix the offensive line. Matt Paradis should be healthy, and is the anchor of the unit. Every other spot is a question mark. John Elway and Vance Joseph will have some work to do in free agency and the draft. Success in 2017 could hinge on what they are able to do to improve the worst unit on the field for Denver in 2016.
