Eric Goodman and Les Shapiro had an interesting discussion on the Afternoon Drive yesterday about the Denver Broncos quarterback situation.
Les Shapiro was opining how all the national media outlets and fans keep connecting every free agent quarterback. Yet, the word out of Dove Valley is that Denver is happy with Paxton Lynch and Trevor Siemian at quarterback for next year. Their coaching staff hires reflect that as well.
So, is John Elway wrong to place all his eggs in two young quarterbacks’ baskets? Or are all the quarterback connections just a product of the 24/7 news cycle and the lack of a sure thing under center?
