Denver Broncos have second best Super Bowl odds in AFC next season

Soon after Super Bowl LI came to end with that improbable comeback win by the New England Patriots over the Atlanta Falcons, Vegas published their Super Bowl odds for next season.

According to those odds, the Denver Broncos own the second best odds in the AFC. With reports that Paxton Lynch will be given every opportunity to start next season, it is a bit surprising that oddsmakers would value the Broncos higher than teams with more established quarterbacks in the conference.

It’s all about that defense, it seems. One thing is clear, the AFC West figures to play a prominent role in the conference again in 2017. The team that wins that internal dogfight is likely the one that emerges as one of the finalists for the AFC conference title.
