Eric and Les had some questions about how a schedule affects the players. Ferguson had an interesting take on what the players look for when the schedule comes out. The big things that players are concerned about are potential cold weather games, bye weeks, and Thursday games.
Along with looking for potential pitfalls in the schedule, players look for primetime games. The opportunity to make a statement in a primetime game is big for players. Fans look for primetime games, as well. Those games are an indication of a team’s popularity and success. Denver is often placed in Monday and Sunday night games. That is the burden that comes with success.
Players also look for favorable weather, it seems.
