While day one of the 2017 NFL Draft has been the primary focus of most Denver Broncos fans, I'd boldly suggest that the Broncos can actually find not one, but two starters with their three picks on day two.
While it seems as if every national pundit has Denver taking an offensive lineman in the first round, I ask you, in the last five years who has been correct about who the Broncos will actually draft? The credit belongs to the bloggers who are actually in the arena, not the faces for radio gossiping in the parking lot while players are competing.
What has come to light in the last three months for me is that from the 2016 NFL Scouting Combine on, Gary Kubiak never faltered from saying that he was going to start Trevor Siemian. There was never a competition, it was Kubiak's guy versus John Elway's guy. Now, only one remains. Guess who is getting the push as Denver begins Phase Two of their offseason training activities.
Keep that information in mind, when you take into account some of the starters from last season that didn't make complete sense. Actual needs for the Broncos include very specific positions: offensive tackle, nose tackle, right defensive end, blocking tight end, inside linebacker, slot receiver and yes, likely we will see Denver draft a quarterback.
Join me live and let's talk about what potential starters Denver will have on their board for Day 2.
