The Denver Broncos will enter the 2017 NFL Draft with 10 total picks, with an impressive four picks in the first two days. They have the ammunition, now they will just need to capitalize.
The first round of the NFL Draft will start at 6:00 p.m. MT on Thursday, April 27th. With the 20th pick, you will have a few hours of waiting before Denver is on the clock, but that is a bit lower than we’ve all been accustomed to.
The second and third rounds pick back up on Friday, April 28th at 5:00 p.m. MT. If the Broncos do not trade up in the first round, we should expect some trade action from the Broncos in the second or third rounds as guys on their draft boards begin to get plucked by other teams. Expect to see Broncos legend and Pro Football Hall of Famer, Floyd Little, at the podium to announce the first Broncos pick on Day 2 and Ring of Famer, Rod Smith, will announce the Broncos third round pick.
Rounds four through seven will take place on Saturday, April 29th at 10:00 a.m. MT. The Broncos will have soldiers from Piñon Canyon announce their fourth and fifth round pick, while members of the Denver local youth football Boys and Girls Club will announce their sixth round pick.
