With two picks at the very end of the draft, John Elway clearly wants to get better value earlier. This trade achieves just that. Moving back about 20 spots, while picking up over 75 spots at the back end of the 2017 NFL Draft.
After trading their fifth round pick and Kapri Bibbs to the San Francisco 49ers, they regain their fifth round draft position.
