Ian Rapoport of NFL Network is reporting that Dallas Cowboys quarterback, Tony Romo has opted to retire to pursue a career in broadcasting. As of right now, it's unclear which network Romo would join, but Fox, NBC, and CBS all are showing interest.
Tony Romo has broadcasting opportunities from CBS and FOX, among others. He still has the itch, but those chances are too good to pass up

According to Adam Schefter, Romo's decision comes due in large part to health concerns and a desire to spend more time with his family.
This news puts to rest all future discussion of Romo joining the Denver Broncos or the Texans. He was expected to be released by the Cowboys later today.
So where does that leave the Broncos?
The #Broncos are moving forward with Trevor Siemian & Paxton Lynch. #Texans moving forward with Tom Savage & likely the draft for a QB.

Tony Romo retiring as QB for broadcasting, even though he is to be released, per ESPN. If true, Trevor Siemian is safe as a Bronco. #9sports
