Eric and Les asked Nick to assess the Broncos offseason. In what seems to be a strange twist, wide receiver seems to be a need for the offense. Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders might be the best WR duo in the NFL, but Nick Ferguson thinks the Broncos are missing some weapons.
With Tony Romo headed to the broadcast booth, Paxton Lynch and Trevor Siemian will need weapons. Ever since Thomas signed his big contract, there are some out there who think he has not performed at a high enough level. Thomas is looking like trade fodder to some, but that may be reactionary.
If the two young quarterbacks need weapons, Thomas is a major key to that. If his numbers have been down, that is probably a result of the atrocious play of the offense, and not a drop off in talent. What do you think Broncos Country? Do the Broncos need to move on from Thomas and draft a wide receiver?
