There has been a lot of excitement in Broncos Country around the signing of Jamaal Charles, and rightly so. When healthy he was one of the most dynamic backs in the league over the last 5-10 years.
MHR’s Ian St. Clair and Adam Malnati talk on their podcast about how he will take the offense off of life support and it’s a perfect pairing with offensive coordinator Mike McCoy. All of which I agree with.
However, today, the Afternoon Drive threw a little cold water on the fire, referencing a piece from Mike Klis of 9News where he gives Charles a 50-50 chance to make the final 53-man roster due to his injury history.
Les Shapiro even took it a step further and said he gives Charles less than a 50% chance of making it out of camp.
Check out the full segment above, and give your thoughts below. Does Charles make the final roster and give the Broncos a boost this year, or will he not make it out of training camp healthy?
