In Week 3 of the 2017 regular season, the Denver Broncos will travel to upstate New York to face the Buffalo Bills. Like the Broncos, the Bills also have a new head coach and coaching staff. Unlike the Broncos, the Bills have severe talent problems all over the field.
The Bills are likely not a very good football team in 2017 and are a couple of solid offseasons away from changing the culture there, which should give the Broncos a leg up on them in their matchup this season.
All-time series: Bills lead 20-16-1
Bills free agency
Key additions: Micah Hyde, Jordan Poyer, Steven Hauschka
Key losses: Stephon Gilmore, Zach Brown, Marquise Goodwin, Robert Woods, Garrison Sanborn
The Bills lost some talent at a few key skill positions, but overall didn’t get reduced too badly. The big hit has been on defense, where they lost several starters who will be replaced by players with very little experience or playing time.
Add in that Rick Dennison will be their offensive coordinator, it might be safe to assume the defense is going to be tested with poor field position in a lot of games in 2017.
Bills 2017 draft class
Given their free agent losses, the Bills drafted exactly to their biggest needs. Going cornerback, wide receiver, offensive line and linebacker. All four positions took significant hits to the depth on the roster in free agency.

Way too early predictions
Week 3: Broncos 27, Bills 6
The first blowout win for the Broncos in 2017 comes on the road against the pretty bad Bills team. It’s May, so why not predict something that is too early to know how good either team is going to be this season.
Although, we at least know the Broncos have a world beating defense. That alone should give them the win in this game. Then again, Tyrod Taylor could take the Rico offense to the hilt and dissect the No Fly Zone for a double-digit win.
LOL, I know.
