When Andrew Mason tweeted out that Jamaal Charles had said he had been a Denver Broncos fans growing up and John Elway was his favorite player, many of us probably assume that was just a newly signed player expressing love to his new team.

It appears there was more to that quote than just hyperbole. His college friend tweeted out a photo of him with Charles and there he is wearing an Orange #7 jersey loud and proud.
Needless to say, Kansas City Chiefs fans are all kinds of butthurt by this news. I love it. I hope Charles is the NFL’s Comeback Player of the Year in 2017 and demolishes his old team in epic fashion both at home and on the road.
