Afternoon Drive says pump the brakes on QB competition talk until after OTAs

New, comments

Les Shapiro and Eric Goodman discuss some of the recent buzz around Paxton Lynch’s great day on Monday.

NFL: Denver Broncos-OTA Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

Eric Goodman and Les Shapiro of the Afternoon Drive have been hearing the buzz surrounding Lynch’s big day Monday. Many are calling it his best performance on the practice field so far as a Bronco.

However, Les Shapiro says we should tap the brakes on crowning either QB the winner of the competition, or even saying one has the edge over the other until the pads come on.

Sounds like they’ve been reading Sadarine’s No Bull Review or docllv.

They do make a good point. I guarantee the coaches aren’t going to freak out about a couple big plays in shorts, but that doesn’t mean we as fans can’t enjoy it!
