Odds favor Trevor Siemian over Paxton Lynch in Broncos quarterback battle

New, comments

If you were wondering who Vegas favors in the Broncos QB battle it is heavily towards Trevor Siemian.

Oddsmakers have weighed in on the various quarterback competitions around the NFL and Trevor Siemian came out the second-most favored quarterback to win his job. Paxton Lynch is going to have his work cut out for him.

There has been a lot more hype around Lynch this offseason than there ever was last season, but Vegas seems to suggest it is more hype than substance. However, all that could change in a week if Lynch comes out and starts making waves.

Being closer to the team than oddsmakers and hearing nearly every inside report, I would be putting some money on Lynch at these odds. There does seem to be some momentum around pushing Lynch to start this season and he would need to choke very badly during training camp to squander it.

Still, this news should please those who are pulling hard for Siemian as there has been, as I just mentioned, a lot more Lynch hype this year. Through all of those news stories, it is Siemian who is still favored to win this job.

One more day to Broncos Camp!
