The Denver Broncos have been practicing against the San Francisco 49ers over the last few days. Leading up to their preseason game, Paxton Lynch is getting more first team reps, and seems to have taken the opportunity to shine. Eric Goodman and Les Shapiro wonder if this is his last chance to become the starter.
Media reports throughout the preseason have been that Trevor Siemian has been the leader in regards to the starting job. However, the last few days, the reports have flipped and Lynch has been the better of the two quarterbacks. In the last joint practice, in 11-on-11 drill Lynch went 12-12 with two touchdowns.
Big step for #Broncos Lynch as he reportedly had a great practice-- especially when you consider it was against another team.

He was making throws that impressed John Lynch, and was finally looking like he had a grasp of the offense. Has Lynch moved into a position to be named the starter? Perhaps. The answer can only come after the Broncos and 49ers meet in the preseason. If Lynch can continue to impress on the field, the starting job just might have to be his.
